This is confusing. There is software that one can purchase to perform better in the game? How would this be implemented in online play? I guess what I’m saying is, is there now way for 2k to be able to detect if foreign code is operating on their severs? I’ve played against some flamethrowing shooters in Next Gen REC, and have even thought that there may have been something off because a guy went like 18-20 from 3…but he was also fading like crazy, which is a sort of “cheat” in 2k because of the consistency of the shot meter when fading.also, if 2k is not able to detect these “devices,” why are these guys not playing Pro-AM?

Stop the cap. The Sweaty side of the community does this in every game. They demand a harder game or in 2k case a Skill Gap. That’s why zens ruined 21 and no is getting big in 23. You couldn’t handle 65 3pt rating being about to hit wide open threes. Now the skill gap is there and part of the player base just can’t shoot. You don’t think is funny every content complains about the rec experience.

Love your content but it’s crazy to say someone is cheating because they are greening shoots consistently with a meter. 2K put meters in the game for people like me who are not good with muscle memory or visual cues related to different animations. I shoot 70% using the meter. It’s sucks, but I know now that this is out people from time to time will accuse me of cheating

I feel ya. I don’t understand how anyone could derive any kind of an enjoyable gameplay experience, knowing they didn’t grind and earn their way to an elite performance. It’s just sad to see so many games we’ve all loved, get nuked like this by cheaters 🏀 🏀 🏀
