Shooting off the dribble is too easy ... it's not a skill gap ... I shoot off the dribble with a 6'11 center with no agent 3's and my 3 pointer is a 79 🤷🏾♂️
I must say the fade shots are dumb af no one shoots those shots unless they are forced to, in 2k3 it's preferred over standing and shooting wide open shots

Am I the only one that thinks it's absolutely trash that you can only get accelerator perk from pro Am? Like not everyone has a squad. I play with randoms so I'm forced to go all year and not get the perk. That's a major disadvantage.

I have two 6’3 builds with a 96 and a 99 layup build with some 3 and mid range capabilities. It’s not the META and it’s definitely not the norm but it works. Is it the best and most consistent? No but it’s fun and when you dominate you know you’re doing it with a non-meta build.
You could easily fix the animation issue by making them the have the same effects based on the speed boost out. There's no excuse for a dribble style or move in the same tier should have a faster animation. This has been a problem for years and people are ok with it because "we all find out what's the fastest anyway". That's an excuse to cover up for the devs not properly balancing animations. Think back a few years how many animation options did we have? Now it's 10 to 15 with two new ones a season.
I play with ransoms Brute but for you to say 2k randomizing your shot speed one play when your open to fast and another play when your open to slow speed isn’t a skill gap. That’s called RNG bro. No skill is required. We shouldn’t have to guess what speed we are getting. And bro dribbling is easy to. If you got a 70 ball handle you can catch ppl sleeping. It’s all animation exploits bro. I agree with everything but the shooting…different shot timings is not skills gap! Maybe contested I get it but corner shots and hash shots shouldn’t be different timing wide open

Shooting I think is a skill gap because rec randoms omg you might get lucky enough to get 1 person that can shoot and know when to shoot because once they miss 2 wide opens they quit game or start to sale and sabotage the game
